Bethel Union is the newest creation from the team who brought you Chinatowns award-winning pizzeria, J.J. Dolan’s. For their follow up endeavor, they wanted to create a bistro style trattoria with the contemporary cuisine and culture you could only find in Chinatown.
Previously occupied by Brasserie Du Vin and the old Harbor Lounge, Bethel Union has been newly renovated into a modern and inviting escape. The cuisine at Bethel Union is as fresh and surprising as its bright, modern atmosphere. Featuring a combination of classic and contemporary Italian cuisine with fresh pasta, utilizing local ingredients whenever possible.
The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Lucy Han. Originally from Korea and raised in New York, she’s cooked at Honolulu’s most prestigious restaurants including Le Mer and Vintage Cave. Using fresh ingredients, from Kauai shrimp to New Zealand Salmon, Chef Han is creating flavorful dishes and hand cut pastas.
